Pastor Sang came to America when he was five and grew up in Sunnyside, NY. He met Jesus in his sophomore year in high school (10th grade), and his life's direction was forever changed. He seeks to welcome people called to the marketplace to trust God and asks them to lead others to Jesus.
He married his college sweetheart, Jihyung, and has two children. They met at Binghamton University, where Pastor Sang graduated with a BS in Physics and a BA in Psychology. From there, he joined the United States Air Force as an officer and worked at the Headquarters of Air Force Special Operations, equipping the special forces with tactical unmanned aerial systems. He consequently received his Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and his first doctorate (Ph.D.) in business administration and management, specializing in aerospace technology while working in Fortune 500 companies in engineering management, mergers and acquisitions, and technology leadership.
Today, Pastor Sang continues to provide technology leadership services, but his main drive remains to form relationships to welcome others to Christ. He received his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Alliance Theological Seminary, Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) from United Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) from Kernel University. He is ordained with the Evangelical Church Alliance (ECA). He teaches at various seminaries, especially regarding discipleship and spiritual formation. You may also find him teaching graduate-level cybersecurity courses in schools such as NJIT. His books include "Our Highest Calling" and "Dependence Prayer."
Pastor Sang focuses on those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, the missing gap in today's church, those who are working, getting married, starting a family, and making the most critical decisions for their lives and the lives of their children. He wants to change the trend of broken families and teaches men to love their wives, even giving up their lives for them because authentic leadership is serving others.
By the way, he loves to eat—anything meat. Why not call him out and share your life's experiences with him?
